Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKPE) is a non-profit institute which provides free quality education to girls and women from Kindergarten up to Post Graduation. Founded by the fifth original Jagadguru, Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, this institute is located in the rural area in north India namely Kunda, District Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
Currently running under the guidance of Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, our institution comprises of three institutes namely Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Degree College), Kripalu Balika Intermediate College (High School) and Kripalu Balika Primary School.
"Sa Vidya Tanmatiriyaya" asserts that true education aims to instill affection for God, emphasizing the need for a balance between material progress and spiritual development for inner peace. Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj urges teachers to cultivate a fatherly relationship with students, promoting both moral values and academic excellence.
Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education aims to provide a holistic environment for the education of underprivileged girls and women so that they can be successful in this physical world and spiritually uplift themselves.
Complete education for daughters is rarely given a priority by parents belonging to low income groups in rural India and hence neglected. Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education strives to empower these underprivileged girls with quality education, helping them break the cycle of poverty and build a better future for themselves and their families.
To overcome any obstacles in their education, we organize various free annual distributions of basic necessities like uniforms, winter jackets, stationery, school bags, bicycles etc to the students in collaboration with Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat.
With the vision and inspiration of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, our High School, Kripalu Balika Intermediate College was established in 1978 in Kunda, then a poverty-stricken rural area, where education of girls was almost always neglected .
Over the next two decades, Kripalu Balika Intermediate College became a well established and a renowned institution in the area for its quality education. In the late 90’s Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj furthered his vision with the inauguration of our Degree College, Kripalu Mahila Mahavidyalaya in 1998.
Observing the lack of quality primary education for stronger foundation in the area led to the inception of our primary school i.e. Kripalu Balika Primary school which was inaugurated in 2008. Throughout the four decades since its inception, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education has constantly evolved and continues to grow to fulfill its mission.
Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education received the Jagaran Group of Excellence Award on 20th October 2023 for the unwavering commitment to empower young girls in India. Jagaran Group has honored the tireless efforts of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education for bringing gender equality in education and creating a brighter, more inclusive society.
Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji, President of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education, received the World Icon Award in a ceremony in Bangkok, Thailand. The award is given to individuals and organizations for their praiseworthy and remarkable contributions to society. H.H Dr. Tripathi Ji said, “This award belongs to our Guru, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, who Himself always gave generously. He taught us to serve those in need. He said that if one has extra – then they must give it away and not keep it. We will continue to serve Him through these philanthropic efforts.”
JKP Education officially broke the current record for the Largest Self-Defence Demonstration in the Limca book of records in 2016. This comes 10 months after one of the biggest Self Defense training programmes in the world which took place on the 18th of Sept, 2016, where over 5700 girls took part in a large-scale demonstration at Shri Kripalu Dham Mangarh. Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education is ever proud of this achievement and hard work of the trainers and the young girls in taking a step towards self protection and sincerely hopes this award will encourage others to follow this example.

It was the great vision of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj to ensure that all these children receive a strong education so that they can build a foundation for a good society. Dr. Tripathi Ji is working tirelessly to ensure that this continues.
JKP President, Sushri Vishakha Tripathi received the prestigious Indian Icon Award for its philanthropic activities that have helped many less fortunate people. They include providing free education to girls from primary to postgraduate levels, operating 3 free hospitals in rural areas in UP that provide medical care to the less fortunate as well as helping the poor and needy with basic life essentials such as food, clothing, blankets, umbrellas, dining utensils and financial assistance.
‘iNext Achievers’ Award was honored to Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji on 21st August 2015, for being a visionary person of great courage and compassion. Upon receiving the award she said, A woman plays various roles in life. If she is educated she can contribute both to the family and the society in a much more meaningful way. Education is the best tool to empower women in the true sense.
‘Zee Sargam Sammaan Award received on 10th August 2015 by our President Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji for her persistent efforts in Empowering Women through her free, charitable school and college. The award is given to Institutions and Individuals who have made important contributions to the economic and social development of Uttar Pradesh. The award was presented to JKPE Trustee Mr. Ram Puri by U.P. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Ji on 20 December 2017.
UP Mahotsav Award, a State Level Award for charity in health and education received on 10 January 2015.
On November 3rd, 2014, H.H. Dr. Vishakha Tripathi, President of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat was honored with the “Zee Achiever’s Award” by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav. Established by Zee Media Group, this award was given to those organizations and individuals who have contributed in a significant way to the economic and social upliftment of the residents of Uttar Pradesh.
JKP Education’s President Vishaka Tripathi accepted the prestigious award in Delhi on April 19, 2014 from a member of Indian Parliament and former Minister of State of Home Affairs, Shripad Yesso Naik. “The aim is to remove any obstacle to the girl’s education that is likely to be induced by poverty”, said Vishaka Tripathi, President of JKP Education. G.S. Sachdeva, general secretary of the Economic Growth Society of India, commented, “These awards have been instituted with the goal of honoring individuals and organizations that have made selfless contribution towards the growth of India”.

It was a proud moment for Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education, as the President, Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji received the honorable Rajiv Gandhi Global Excellence Award tonight (21st May 2013) at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. The jury decided on the award for the invaluable contribution and efforts put in towards the nation’s progress in the field of education for the underprivileged female community in rural India.

On 10th November 2012, Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education received a Token of Appreciation from Ashayein for the unconditional support of regenerating hope for the underprivileged girls. Aashayein Foundation is an NGO (non-governmental organization) in India that works towards the educational upliftment of the underprivileged children.
