Recognizing the dire need of educational opportunities for girls, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj established Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat Education (JKP Education), a 100% free educational institution. Situated in Kunda, Uttar Pradesh, India, was acquired by Jagadguru Kripalu Higher Education Society, which runs under the divine guidance of Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and the President, Sushri Dr. Vishakha Tripathi Ji. Since 2005, it has transformed into a charitable Institution which provides 100% Free Education to students from Kindergarten through to Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is the fifth original Jagadguru, a title given only to a divine personality who possesses complete theoretical knowledge of all scriptures as well as practical experience of God, and whose teachings bring about a spiritual revolution in the world. In the tradition dating back more than 2500 years, he was honored with the title of Jagadguruttam – “Supreme among all Jagadgurus.” on January 14, 1957 by 'Kashi Vidvat Parishad' (a council of 500 greatest scholars saints of India).
As the supreme exponent of Sanatana Dharma, the eternal Vedic religion, his reconciliation of contradictory philosophies and faiths including those of western philosophers is unparalleled. His explanations of profound subjects are lucid and eloquent, augmented with simple analogies that makes them understandable to people from all walks of life.
He dedicated his entire life to inspire souls on the path of devotion to God and service to humanity.The concept of universal brotherhood ‘Vasudhev Kutumbakam’ finds its fullest manifestation in the institutes he established. In His lifetime, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj set up a College and School for underprivileged girls, three fully charitable hospitals, and many more philanthropic endeavors.
The Institution gives hope to thousands of underprivileged girls in rural India for a bigger and brighter future. All three institutions not only provide free education, but also provide free summer and winter uniforms, books, bicycles, umbrellas, etc., to ensure that any obstacle to a student's education induced by poverty is removed.
